Best Christmas Lights Award – A Christmas Tradition & Free Printable

Last night the messages came FLOODING in when I shared the cutest tradition a Bestie shared with me on Instagram! After almost 100 requests… I am excited to share this fun tradition with all of you today WITH a FREE Printable!

One way our family is serving this holiday season and focusing on Christ, is participating in the Light The World Campaign. You can check it all out here! Every day for 25 days, there is a different prompt on how we can serve those around us this Christmas season and bring us closer to our Savior.

I thought this cute tradition was PERFECT timing, since today’s prompt {Day 4} is Matthew 22:39: “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

So here is how this works!

We LOVE Christmas light hunting! When we find ourselves having some “free” time at night before bed, we like to pile into the car, jam out to our favorite Christmas songs, and drive through different neighborhoods around us looking at all of the fun ways people decorate their houses! Some people go ALL OUT and it is AMAZING!

So that is when this fun printable comes into play!

When your family finds your favorite house in the neighborhood, leave a little treat and this printable on their doorstep, letting them know that your family has voted them “Best Christmas Lights in the Neighborhood!”
