DIY – Organize Bows and Headbands

I am a big believer that a girl can NEVER have too many accessories! From the moment I found out that Laila was a girl – I started shopping for headbands and bows! I didn’t know that it was going to be her “thing” until she was actually born though. She has not gone one day of her life without one on!

The other day I was watching old family videos and found a few from the day Laila was born. If you know her birth story, you know I was knocked out for most of it. I found a video of me waking up from the anesthesia and you know how it is when you are a little groggy and have no idea what is going on and you don’t remember ANYTHING you say?! Yes. That was me. Once I realized that I was a mom and Laila was born, the first thing I said was, “Can you put a bow on her head, please?” I HADN’T EVEN MET HER YET!! I guess that is where it all started – I was a bow-atic from the moment she came out! 🙂

We had a big celebration when Laila bought her 100th bow by doing a whole photo shoot with Art By Design LV {who is AMAZING by the way!}. Her 100th bow is actually the one she is wearing in this picture and she is sitting in a suitcase full of her whole collection!

How To Organize Bows And Headbands

Laila has nearly 200 bows and headbands now and as you can imagine, it is hard to keep them organized. I knew I didn’t want to just put them in a drawer – many of them are fancy and I wanted to keep them nice! SO – today I thought I would share with you a few ways on DIY How To Organize Bows And Headbands! Super EASY and cheap ways to keep them put together and still display them in our sweet girl’s room!

I found these necklace holders in Clearance for only $5 each at Target!! It is the perfect and EASY way to display them. I love that I can see all of them too, so when deciding on an outfit for the day, they all are right in front of me to choose from!

Headband Holder Using Necklace

Before Laila was born I made this chicken wire bow holder and it is still one of my favorite things in her room! I bought a frame at Goodwill for only $6 and painted it pink. I then took chicken wire from Home Depot and stapled it on the back to cover the whole open space in the frame and clipped the bows on it. You then can hang it on the wall for a cute display in her room!
