Kristy Faye is the owner and creator of Faye’s Cake Pops, based in Nashville, Tennessee. If you haven’t tried her pops, you haven’t had the best yet! Kristy had officially become a stay-at-home mom after her 4th child arrived in 2011 and to keep herself busy, she started playing around with the new cake pop trend. She says, ” The first month or so was pretty disastrous, but the kids loved eating them no matter what they tasted like! I have never remained still for long, and I found that baking was very calming to me and creating new designs each week inspired me.” She started to love baking and made them every weekend to take out on their boat for friends and family!
Because the cake pops were SO amazing she would get emails and messages from friends wanting more cake pops. She continues, “Then one day, my husband informed me that we would go broke if I kept making cake pops for free. And Faye’s Cake Pops (Faye is my middle name, and used by the people closest to me) was born!” Aren’t husbands great?! I love that he gave her that little push – and look where she is now. So fun!
She recently has moved Faye’s Cake Pops to the next level and no longer makes the pops in her own home! Her business is quickly growing and it is so exciting! She should be very proud! Cake pops are the perfect dessert! I love the portion control size on a stick and how you can just “grab and go!” They look amazing on any dessert table and of course satisfy your sweet tooth.
I was able to receive cake pops from her incredible shop and fell in love before I even took my first bite! These darling Thanksgiving treats are perfect for Thanksgiving dinner and I know when I bring another batch to our family gathering in a few weeks, everyone is going to eat them up!
They came in a box with ice packs that stayed cool for DAYS, so the cake pops stayed fresh. Each came individually wrapped and were color coordinated on the bottom of the stick so we could tell what flavor they were. I can’t even tell you what my favorite one was, because they were all delicious! Maybe the chocolate truffle? No, maybe the cookies n creme? No, maybe the wedding cake!
With 16 flavors, it will be hard to decide your favorite, too! They are so perfect for the whole entire family – from the oldest to the youngest. I am pretty sure Laila LOVED hers.
