I was SO stressed. We had tickets to go to Disney’s California Adventure and my 4 year old was THRILLED to get to ride the brand new Spider-Man ride!
I quickly found out in order to ride the new ride though, I needed to join the “virtual que” to get a ticket at 7am and immediately I was so nervous!
How do I do that?
What is a virtual que?
What if I don’t get a boarding group?
You know… ALL. THE. THINGS!
Sooooo, of course I head to Instagram Stories to chat with all of you and the Bestie Squad came in clutch as ALWAYS with your tips and tricks on how to snag a ticket for the “virtual que!”
We were able to successful get a boarding group so I thought I would compile all of the BEST Bestie Tips so when you head to Disneyland and want to ride either Spider-Man or Rise of the Resistance {Star Wars} – you don’t have to be stressed like me! 🙂
Here are 10 SIMPLE STEPS to join the VIRTUAL QUE:
- DOWNLOAD the Disneyland App on your phone
- SIGN IN to your account that has your tickets linked
- SET YOUR ALARM for 6:55pm
- Once you are in the app, CLICK the three lines
- SELECT virtual que
- At EXACTLY 7am, CLICK “Join Virtual Que”
- Click on the park you want AS FAST AS YOU CAN {Disneyland or DCA}
- Click JOIN THE QUE and if you were fast enough, it will give you a group number
IMPORTANT TIPS TO NOTE:
- Practice beforehand! Get familiar with the app and the buttons you are going to push so you can go FAST at 7am.
- If you don’t make it with the 7am group – there is another chance at 12pm! Set your alarm again for 11:55am so you are ready to try again!
- You do not need to be inside the park to join the que. We stay at the HoJo {CLICK HERE to check out the hotel. It is the best!} and I joined the que from our hotel room!
- Don’t waste even a SECOND! At 6:59am be ready to click those buttons as quickly as possible.
- Make sure you have a GREAT Internet connection
If you have any other tips you would add – please leave them in the comments below for others to see! We all need all the tips we can get so we can ride these fun rides and tricks are ALWAYS welcomed!! 🙂
