I can’t believe I am writing this. I can’t believe I ACTUALLY have a baby that is WALKING!! What?! You guys. Doesn’t it seem like I was JUST pregnant! And here we are – teaching him how to run around town! I can’t even handle it! Where in the world does time go?!
There is nothing cuter in this world than little baby feet. Am I right?! You guys know by now that I am just obsessed! The chunky, wide, little and PERFECT feet on these little babes of ours just make my heart so happy! I swear I could just eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
My little man has been SO excited to learn how to walk, but has been struggling with really taking off on his own, so the other day I reached out to all of you {my fave Besties!} and asked for any tips and tricks that you might have to help him! All of your pieces of advice were SO good – but most of you all had one piece of advice in common – which was to get GOOD and comfortable walking shoes!
Now, you know I am one to do all the research on products before I find the BEST one that REALLY works! So of course I set out on a mission to find the BEST shoes for our little walkers! I bet you all can guess where I headed to?

Anyways – while at Target I came across the Surprize line by Stride Rite! I had heard nothing but amazing things about them, so of course I gave them a shot and picked up a cute solid black pair for my little guy! And oh my goodness – I have fallen ABSOLUTELY in love with them!
The Stride Rite shoes have the perfect fit for our babe’s little feet – even with how wide my little man’s feet are! And my absolute favorite part about them, is that they are super easy to take off and on, which you know is a mom ESSENTIAL!
They are SUPER durable and one of the coolest things about the shoes is that they all have rounded toes and traction pods to reduce falls and tumbles {can you say PERFECT for our beginner walkers?!} – which has been HEAVEN sent since we are trying to help him walk with more confidence without falling!
Also with the memory foam footbed, you know they are so comfortable I wish I had a pair of my own! I love the flexible outsoles to fit shape and movement of their teeny feet too!
