Yesenia is a 32 year old mother of 4. She started her business in 2003 with the encouragement of her co workers! She was missing the creative aspect in her life, so she decided to get back into it. She took the last $40 left over from her paycheck one week and got to work! She hit Downtown L.A. and purchased some ribbon and cute white paper mache roses and made 24 hair clips. In just ONE WEEK, the clips were completely sold out! Because of this Que Cute was formed – What was supposed to be a little hobby making a few hair clips for the store, turned into something bigger and better than she even imagined.
Yesenia says, “I LOVE seeing little girls wearing the accessories I make, and I pride myself in making quality products that can be enjoyed for years. I seal the ends of ribbons, make sure no glues are visible, use only high quality materials, and try my best to keep my purchases for supplies between mom and pop shops like mine. My ultimate goal is to be a household name in the accessories market, while still keeping it all handmade in the USA and maintaining the quality of the product.”
