I am VERY excited and honored today to introduce you ladies to an INCREDIBLE mom, who I am SO grateful to know! It’s funny because I don’t “know” her personally, but I KNOW her through the world wide web, and she is SO amazing. Don’t you love when that happens?! I just can’t wait to introduce you mamas to her and her darling shop, Que Cute Accessories!
Yesi is a stay-at-home mom of four and is beautiful inside and out! After 11 years of selling wholesale, she opted to leave the fast paced life of sample making, sales reps and trade shows to make one of a kind items at her own pace and spend more guilt-free time with her cute family!
In 2003 the opportunity came to Yesi to create, just as she was missing that creative aspect in her life. With the support of her co-workers, she took the LAST $40 left over from her paycheck that week and got to work!
She says, “I hit Downtown L.A and purchased some ribbon, and these cute white paper mache roses, I bought some mini snap clips, and made about 24 hair clips, I sold them to my boss, and they were all gone by the end of the week….I doubled my money, and then Que Cute took on a life it’s own. I get inspiration from high end designers like Tarina Tarantino, Juicy, Micheal Kors, Betsy Johnson and runway fashions.”
Yesi’s life completely changed in June 2014, when she had baby #4. She says the following speaking of her new addition, “To our surprise, she had a little extra cuteness than we were expecting and this brought a whole new dynamic to our family. We had to move some things around and change some priorities, I needed more time to dedicate to my family,”
Her beautiful daughter was born with Down Syndrome and just a few months later {this past January} her sweet girl had open heart surgery, which was a success, Oh, we are SO happy for her and her family!
I am so honored to partner with Que Cute Accessories today, to announce that as of TODAY, June 17th, 2015, Yesi will be donating 5% of their sales to CHLA in honor of the great work they did for her daughter this past year! Isn’t that amazing?! SHE is amazing! What a WONDERFUL cause and a great way to give back!
Today she celebrates her ONE YEAR birthday of her miracle girl, Samantha, and we are are going to celebrate with her! Everything went as planned with her open heart surgery and she has recovered beautifully.
Since she was born, the attention from hospitals, doctors, and nurses has been overwhelming and Yesi and her family are beyond grateful for each and every one who has helped them.
Yesi says, “This has left me feeling with a need to give back. Our experience at CHLA was outstanding, everyone from the doctors to the servers in the cafeteria and the parking attendants were just incredible. So I signed an agreement with CHLA and beginning June 17th, 2015 when my daughter turns 1, QueCute will begin donating 5% of sales to CHLA! This really is a huge deal for me, I hope that my little donations help another family feel as comfortable as we did during such difficult times.”
I am just so happy for Yesi and am excited to have the opportunity to help spread word about this exciting news. I love to know with every purchase and cute bow my girl wears from Que Cute, a portion of the monies will be helping a child and family in need.
