The other night I had the opportunity and privilege of attending the Treat Your Mom Like A Queen Night hosted by MD Diet! MD Diet is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and they invited daughters to nominate their moms for a day to be treated like a queen! How fun is that?!
The submissions came in and the hard decision had to made on who the lucky winner of the Mother-Daughter makeover was going to be! They ended up choosing Nancy & Nisa who have a beautiful story of bravery and love!
At the event, the duo was pampered and were treated like the real QUEENS that they are! It was a night to remember!
As I have reflected on the message of the night, I couldn’t help but be reminded of a quote that I heard once about queens. It said, “REAL queens FIX each other’s crowns.” And I LOVE LOVE LOVE it so much! In fact, I love it so much I made a free printable for you all that you can print out today and put in your room or office or hang on your refrigerator!
Real queens fix each other’s crowns. We don’t compare. We don’t say mean things. We don’t belittle or betray. We don’t think we are better than others or put others down to make us look better. We love. We forgive. We help each other. And we are there for one another to support and cheer on!
Thank you, Bestie for being an incredible REAL queen! You fix my crown all the time and I love seeing you fix other women’s crowns around you too!
