I am pretty sure there is nothing cuter than a little girl in a tutu. I love that you can dress them up or down – and they are fun for playing, church, dance class, parties and photo shoots! Today I am excited to introduce you to Queen Delicious – a cute shop that makes tutus, bows, leggings, blankies and even candles and soaps!
Dawn is the owner and creator of Queen Delicious. She was born and raised in a small town in Texas and grew up learning to sew and handcrafting soap with her mother. She has always been a girly girl, even though she grew up with FOUR brothers! After Dawn became a mom to three beautiful girls, she became passionate & ambitious to go back to her roots. She says, “They are my inspiration everyday.”
At age 30, Dawn’s mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The doctors never had hope for her, telling her the end was near. But she didn’t believe those doctors & kept pressing on. At 36, she became pregnant with Dawn – her only daughter after four boys. Dawn says, “I give the credit to God & my family for who I am today & all that I am capable of becoming.” What an awesome lady, right?! I love her beautiful story!
Queen Delicious is a super cute shop with so many fun items! Each item in her shop is homemade with love, thought and time. Dawn has a passion for making new items from old items – she says, “adding sentimental value to items is very important to me..Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!…I hope to be the mother my mom has been to me & show my daughters how to express themselves & make/create things that can be passed on to those around the world.”
