I am so excited to introduce you all to a BRAND NEW shop that JUST opened! I know you guys are going to fall in love with it, just like I have. It is my honor to introduce you to Sweet Pea Custom Decor!
Brooke, the owner and creator of Sweet Pea Custom Decor was born and raised in Las Vegas! She married her High School Sweetheart three years ago and is a new mom to a sweet, DARLING baby girl. Before having a baby, Brooke taught 8th Grade Geography {amazing} but once she became a mom, she wanted to spend most of her time with her new little girl, so she decided to leave the school district to teach piano lessons part-time.
She says, ” I am a very creative person and I put my heart and soul into everything I do. When I was teaching middle school, I loved coming up with creative lesson plans to make learning fun and engaging for my kids. Piano has also been a way that I have creatively expressed my emotions, and I even create sheet music for my students when they want to learn a song! Because I LOVE being creative, I have ALWAYS loved crafting and it’s one of my favorite things to do! I love having a blank canvas and turning it into something beautiful.”
While she was pregnant with Claire, she decided she wanted to start a shop. She looked EVERYWHERE for a frame to match her nursery, but couldn’t find anything she envisioned. Because she is SO creative, she made her own! Since then, she has been making custom frames as gifts for people for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, mother’s days, father’s days, blessing days, and just for fun! I have a chalkboard in my home and I am LOVING it! Check out how I added it to my “Thanksgiving” table. It is actually my holiday table that I switch out every month. I love that I can change the chalkboard every month to say something different! Right now it says, “Give Thanks!” but in just a few weeks it will say “Merry Christmas” YAY!
